Well, longest time for an update.

As at least Americans should know, here in the USA we’re electing a new president, and it’s a great historical event. 1, ’cause it’s the first black man to have come this far; 2, blueberry Bush is leaving the Whitehouse after creating havoc and a crysis here economy-wise. And 3, I know it but I can’t think of the third reason… Sue me. So, McCain is the Ruplican candidate, and Obama the Democrat candidate. Personally, I’m wishing for Obama to win, and a small reason that does not influence my decision is that:
McCain is likely to die in office, due to his age and hospital familiarity, and then that inexperienced, biased, and whatever-else-you-can-think-of Sarah Palin will be in office *shudders*, and she’ll very unfortunately become president… and probably end up acting just like Bush. That would suck. Badly. Now, I won’t keep blabbering on about them, but as a last thing to say, McCain better not win.

Another update. I hope I can persuade somebody to try to make a Flash homepage for fYN… Just a simple pulsing standard-FM-blue to standard-FM-gray… with a button saying Home with little text underneath it saying (blog), then Forums, /Load, and maybe another link, all highlight in pale-blue circular shape when mouse hovers over it. If anybody would like to attempt it, I’d it, email: fynnun@fynmark.org.

So, I’m trying to figure out how to make the right sidebar wider, so the affiliates list fits in 2 each row.

I also added a text flipper. Found out I still had the code somewhere, so I uploaded and modded it, so you can see it now up in the NavBar. I also spammed bumped the FI affiliate link, so now fynmark is third from top on their affiliates page.

I’m thinking up a new tagline, I’ve been playing around with “where the eons collide”, “where worlds explode”, “where eons explode”, and “where people come out un-normal”. Last one was a last ditch effort. Tell me what you think, by commenting now.

Retired Staff Members on the forums have also had their permissions rippted, now it’s just like normal users. I also made a signature banner, you can look at the topic here. Hope you use them.

I think I’m leaning towards “where eons explode/go boom”. One or the other. Well, I think that’s just about it for now, so head over to the forums and join, and learn pivot techniques if you don’t know the, laern how to animate if ya don’t know how, or even better join so you can be one of the older members in our community and have a big chance at getting VIP in a few months.

And I almost forgot. We’re hosting the first ever Plan-Imation. It’s like a joint, but tons do it, in the same .piv file, so it’s a collab… joint. Topic

I’ve removed the chatbox due to it’s low/non activity/usage. -Forums Announcement

I created an Archives forum, so users can view updates and changes to Fynmark -Forums Announcement

And I removed the archives forum shortly afterwards. -Forums Announcement

Then, I revised the staff, and added a new usergroup, Retired Staff Members -Forums Announcement

Then I created a forum for Registered-Users Only, specifically for downloads and such. Yes, YOU, the guest, unless you’re logged in on the forum, you can’t access that forum. Ha. -Forums Announcement

Then, I closed the VIP’s usergroup. No more VIP’s being added for a long time. -Forums Announcement

After all this, I added a Pr-o-xy service (text extended so firewalls don’t block this page for that word being on it) at the link, /e3, to fynmark.org. So here’s the link: fynmark.org/e3. You guys can have fun with that. I really just made it to join the group of pr-o-xy providers, and so I can search the web at school since VDuck and RC are blocked. Hope you guys all enjoy the updates, and you might notice I have a contact form up. Don’t spam it.

So, as you can see an edited version of Header v1 is up. Just some text added.
And, along with it, our favicon is up! Now, ‘fY’ will be displayed everywhere… but the forum. It has yet to work out :L

I didn’t expect it, VD made me moderator on his forum. Aparently I’m the only other active member there, other than him, that goes on often. Also, I’m wondering whether I should treat the forum members with some highly unuseful bbcode. Sub- and SuperScript. ^SuperScript Normal Text _SubScript. There’s really no way that bbcode can be useful, but useless things are fun to add. Technically, pictures are useless, because in reality, on a website you only need links, but, to make the website easier to use we add pictures, also it appeals to the majority much more.

In other news, I added AnimationGrounds to the affiliate list, and I have yet to add them to the affiliates page and review them. In normal pattern, I’ll probably be editing this a bit every now and then, as I usually do, with forgotten updates & etc.

I’m working on a new header, here’s the link to it: HEADER v2
It’s simple, but I’ll probably be editing it a lot. I couldn’t yesterday, PS glitched and made paintbrush all hard-edged. No blending in it at all.

I’m also making the ranks, and a poll is going on right now about which styled rank pictures I should use. I like to give members of fYN freedom to choose a lot of things.

In other news, RC is having a li’l trouble, and is was encountering a little trouble, and for some reason Zindux is down. Probably canceled by Sambob, do to low activity. Too bad, I liked it there..

I’m proud to announce that the fYN forums may also be naming a stand-in admin, for when I’m gone. A huge hint is that it is a she. Now all members of fYN forums should know who it may be; if I decide to make a stand-in admin that is.

Made some, well, actually just edited the old ones, but to continue the sentence: Made some “new” affiliate buttons. Looked at a few tuts on FI, and had some fun.

I’m still working on the big button, but I have a preview.

Forum-Topic [click]

You guys are making me a little sad…

We used to be on together, and people would actually post (if a lil bit spammy). People would talk, and it was fun. Now you’re all so quiet, it’s saddening.

So, time for an update. You might see “edit” or something somewhere in this post because I’ll probably edit this over the course of the day.

So, VD’s getting serious about his forum, it died without him. His ranks look good, and I wonder how his coding’s going.

I made a new affiliate button, I like it a lot, now if only some good Flash artist/animator could Flash it…

I’ll be remaking our signature banner as well. Thank’s EF, you made me want to update my affiliate button/sig banner, and thanks VD for finally making me have inspiration to get around to it.

Now, update time. I’m going to be adding the ranks to /board… I’ve been putting it off because there’s…. let’s see… 35-ish maybe 34-36 ranks. Last rank requires 3800 posts, and if you’re wondering, why make so many ranks?, then my answer is because on FM2, I made a poll, asked if the members would like more ranks, they said yes, and here they are. (no i’m not showing them).

I will be simplifying some of fY’s pages, seeing as there is.. are.. tons. I’m also trying to use cForms right, leave it to me to make a pretty simple thing complicated. I can’t help it. Now, this is where the edit(s) start…

Wow… long time without posting for me…

Well, my internet was weird, didn’t say I was connected when I was. Then, there was homework, etc, self explanatory.

So, some news. /cake is going to be removed, but the uploads will remain. Then, RustyCracker had an attack, some spammers spammed every single thread (i think). Board was disabled for awhile. Then, nothing else… Wait, ya. You might of noticed the comment area changed, now it looks different. That may change again for a short time, that plugin doesn’t like me. So, ya, some changes, some news, now comment, and go to fynmark.org/board.

Well, been starting to post in general section on Droidz. I think DragonFist noticed me O_o

Found the Everything You Need to know or w/e it’s called, it’s the topic that was recently updated with Karzanhi. Signz is a good writer, I loved the Karzanhi update. Got a lot of respect for Swammy now, and I can’t believe it’s possible, but less repect for Kar-spammerboy. You’re reading I had no repspect for Kar-what’shisface starting, and ending with less than that.

Well, probably edit this when I think of something, have to limit myself to one post a day    ._.
